Ash Tree Removal, Crab Tree Clay Shoot, Kirkby Lonsdale

We were back at Crab Tree a couple of weeks ago removing two Ash trees from above their existing cabin to make way for their new one.

As you can see, the first tree was felled into the open space in front. The next tree had to be climbed and dismantled due to its proximity to the cabin. 

Unfortunately only pictures of the felled stem/trunk as Pete was too busy working the rigging ropes to photograph the removal of the limbs.
